Highly specialized in producing Prosecco and Verdisio, the wines made by Spumanti Serre take their inspiration from the land plots appearing on the map of its facilities.
The quality hierarchy is represented by the Prosecco Superiore di Cartizze DOC Dry (the grapes come from a small family vineyard on the Cartizze hill) and the selection of Prosecco known as Valgres Gran Cuvèe DOC Extra Dry.
The top sparkling wines are the Prosecco DOC Extra dry; the Prosecco DOC Dry “Colsentà” originating from the Combai territory and the Prosecco Brut DOC Valdobbiadene.
Of interest is the production of Verdisio, always limited, which can be found in both the sparkling Brut as well as still versions, and IGT Colli Trevigiani, which is slowly acquiring its Certificate of Origin status.
At Coste, another locality appearing on the map of the area, there is another native, the Prosecco DOC Coste, a mild wine, which well expresses the soft, clay terrain of the Coste vineyards.
At the bottom of the hierarchy of Serre Sparkling Wines we find the Prosecco frizzante DOC and the Prosecco frizzante IGT “String”, fresh, easy-to-drink and characterized by the traditional threading.
